It has been said that the animals have mind. To some extent, that would be true. On the other hand, it may not be like human beings. In my opinion, some part of mind of human being consists of what you learn in your life. Animals do not have moral. Human beings have moral, but some of us do what animals never do. Animals never kill their kinds except for foods. They do not do war. Our highest culture among creatures based on brain has some paradox at the same time.
Some animals have more moral than some human beings in some situations. It reminds me of my dog called "Chibi(small in Japanese)". I have old dog in my home town. It is male and has brown hair. Our family have been feeding it for more than several years ago.
At the beggining, every one wanted to go for walk with Chibi. However, every body except for me felt boring to walk with Chibi after a while. Before I went to a university, going for a walk with our dog became my job. In order to keep some extent of exercise, I needed time to walk with Chibi. However, I had to leave my hometown for my study. Unfortunately, I had no way to inform that to my dog. We did not think what happens after I left.
A few weeks after I moved, my dog looked different from it was. My mother said, "I thought the dog is not like we had. It looked like other familie's dog." Chibi looked very tired. My father took it to veterinary hospital. It received medical check, which cost a few hundreds dollars, but the doctor cannot find any problem.
My father told the doctor that nobody went walk after I left. The doctor said,"Some dogs lost energy for a few months after their owner passed away. A similar thing may happen to your dog". He looked my fathrer with a grave face. When I came back in a few weeks, I cannot find any strange things of Chibi though I heard his ears were folded.
Maybe, Chibi thought I might be dead because he cannot see the light of my room any more. That must be a schocking event for Chibi because he lost a person who took it to go for a walk. How they feel kindness must be different from human beings. However, they know it and it may be an evidence of existence of moral of animals.
