The other day, I went to Portland to renew my passport. I can do that in USA.
I went to a few excellent domestic coffee shop and the largest bookstore in the world. The name of the bookstore is "Powell's books". The bookstore occupies one block and they sell new and used books. You can find some Japanese books there though most of them are very old used books.
I thought to see books there. I just thought to see them. However, I noticed that I was carrying a plastic back which was filled with a lot of books and a receipt when I leave there. They say that 8 thousand people buy books at the bookstore.
I hold a plastic back... It seems there is a magic which let people want to buy books in the bookstore...
A few days ago, one of my friends suggested me to read Paul Auster's book. The book was little expensive and large in Japan, but I found comparatively good price of paperback edition. I also bought a few of his book and other author's SF book. I was very happy.
